The History of Undernet #Ipoh
#IpoH was started by a group of friends and supporters
namely, Guli, Ra|ph, World^o^, Craze, Foxman_, Ellyda,
Fei-Long etc...Guli set up the channel and registered it so he
became the first Channel Manager of #IpoH. During that
time, when #IpoH was first started, there were only 10 - 15
users including operators but those who came, most of them
became channel regulars. Now, due to they each are busy
with their own things, we seldom see them.
Guli is an IpoH guy but he was in UK when he first started
the channel because he was doing his undergraduate studies
there. He is a very busy person and due to his studies he couldn't login to the channel more often,thus handing the
channel over to Craze, the 2nd CM of #IpoH. Taking over a
channel is not easy, being a channel manager itself, is
already not easy because there are people who begs for
access, people who flood, nuke, create wars,war amongst
the ops due to some reason or other and throughout the
years, one tend to make countless enemies.
As years go by, slowly #IpoH became more n more
populated and now we have an average of 100 users each
night.
